Barnsley and District Animal Welfare.
(BADAW)
REGISTERED CHARITY NUMBER 1128029
BADAW was started early in 2008 by three people to help rescue abandoned or unwanted domestic animals in and around the area of Barnsley, South Yorkshire and achieved registered charity status in February 2009.
We take in, where possible, abandoned or unwanted domestic animals and aim to find them new forever homes. We never put an animal to sleep unless it is on veterinary advice.
All our dogs and cats receive a veterinary health check at Churchfield Veterinary Centre in Barnsley. They are treated against fleas & worms, are micro-chipped, vaccinated against common diseases and are neutered. We also give a voucher for four weeks free insurance with Pet Plan with every dog, cat and rabbit we re-home.
Our small animals are checked by our vets to ensure they are healthy.
LOST PETS - if you are trying to find a lost pet, please see our "Useful numbers" section.
