All our dogs are health checked by our vet, treated against fleas and worms, vaccinated, microchipped and are neutered or come with a voucher for same. 4 weeks free insurance from Pet Plan is included in the adoption fee.
We do carry out home checks before re-homing any dogs.

Dogs looking for new forever homes.
MERLIN
Merlin is a male Collie cross, about 12 months old. He came into our care as his owners had to return to full time work. He is friendly with people (he came from a home with young children) and he gets on well with other dogs. He may benefit from some more basic lead training as he has not been used to walking on the lead.

MISTY
Misty is a female Labrador cross (possible Greyhound as she is rather leggy), about 12 months old and is very friendly with people. She can be a little OTT with other dogs at first but if introduced carefully she is OK and she has shared homes with other dogs since she first came in. She was an unclaimed stray and due to be put to sleep before she came into our care. Note that Misty is not in kennels but is in a foster home - phone 01226 701559 for details.

SPARKY
Sparky is a male Jack Russell cross SBT, about 1 year old. He has the rough coat of a JRT, mainly white with brindle patches. He was found as a stray and due to be put to sleep before we took him in.
Sparky is very friendly and fussy, good with adults and children. He has a mixed reaction to other dogs, most dogs he is very good with but can take a dislike to the odd one. Although he has shared a home with a number of other dogs and has been OK with them, we feel he may be best as an only dog in the home.

Can you give Sparky a new start in a loving home?
DUDE
Dude is a male Staffordshire Bull Terrier around 2 years old, with lovely red and white markings. He is very friendly with adults and children and although is good with other dogs, if introduced with care, we think he may be best as an only dog. He is, however, an escape artist and will need a home with a secure enclosed garden and a 6' + fence. Advice will be given to any prospective owner.

BRODIE
Brodie is a male red merle Border Collie, 15 months old. He is a little timid at first but is very friendly with adults and children and mixes very well with other dogs. He is lively and energetic and would suit a very active family as he needs lots of exercise. He has been signed over to us as his previous owner couldn't devote enough time for him.

LOLA
Lola is an 11 month old Boxer cross bitch, light tan in colour with a black mask. She is good with adults and children (she came from a home with young children) and mixes well with other dogs. Lola was signed over to us as her owners have moved into rented accommodation and are not allowed pets.
